The non-invasive sessions result in slimmer, toned bodies and
the elimination of fine lines and wrinkles via 3 options:
Clinical studies have shown that this technology naturally cause cell death, but as with most techniques, the results vary from one individual to another. The expected effect is usually rapid: part of the fat cells are destroyed during the session while the others will be eliminated within 2 to 3 weeks. It has also been proven to help with micro circulation and a significant increase in collagen due to the thermal shock that is caused by the hot and cold.
SLIMMING: treatments are 28 minutes in length and are performed manually through a massage technique. The session begins with 2 minutes of heat and then a decrease in temperature to -8 ‘C for the duration of the session. The purpose of the treatment is to lower the temperature of the fat cells enough to destroy the cells but leave all surrounding tissue healthy and undamaged. These destroyed fat cells are then naturally passed through the body through the lymphatic system and urine.
TONING: CryoToning treatments are 20 minutes in length, cold therapy only. Treatment is focused on one area at a time, but we can perform more than one area in a session. The device will drop to -2ºC, causing local metabolism and microcirculation in the area to improve. Improving these two processes will boost overall production of collagen and eliminating cellulite, toning the area, and reducing the signs of skin aging.
HOW DOES IT FEEL?
The treatment is painless, with some clients describing it as rather pleasant. This is due to the massage technique and the session beginning with skin warming descending into the gradual decrease of temperature.

How often can I have treatments?
Slimming treatments can be performed once every 2 weeks and lifting or toning treatments can be performed every 7 days. There is a physiological reason for this: when apoptosis occurs and some fat cells die, waste is formed. The waste will be eliminated by natural routes (blood, lymphatic system, and the urine). Metabolism must therefore be allowed to evacuate this waste without overloading the system.
Can I workout before or after the treatments?
Absolutely there are no side effects to this treatment that will stop you working out. Make sure to keep hydrated and drink plenty of good quality still water.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
You do not need to bring anything, we provide you with everything you need. For CryoFacials we will remove your makeup for the best results with the treatment.
Why can I only have the treatment every 2 weeks?
The natural destruction of fat cells will cause cell waste. This waste is passed through the body naturally, first through the blood then the lymphatic system and then urine and this process on average takes 2 weeks.
What happens if I have a session before the 2 week gap?
The results may be compromised by the natural cycle of waste disposal and thus increase the risk of clogging the pathways. This does not represent a significant risk but would compromise the results.
Why can I only have 2 areas done at the same time?
Again, to not overload the body’s elimination pathways. There is also strong internal cooling of the tissues and the treating of more zones at the same time could cause in extreme cases hypothermia and fatigue.
What if I want to do my tummy, face, arms and legs, can I do them at the same time?

In general, it is always advisable to practice treatment on the upper OR lower body in a session.
Do the legs count as 1 area or 2?
The legs would count as one area because you would divide the time between each leg (14 minutes on one leg, 14 minutes on the other).
Can I do an area for longer?
We may extend the time when we are working with someone who has a much larger body mass. Pre-programmed treatments were performed on average body surfaces so are effective across a variety of body types.
Are there any side effects?
There are generally no side effects apart from the amount you urinate to increase slightly over the 3 days following the treatment along with the appearance of your urine in color. In some cases there were localized redness that disappeared after a few hours and in rare cases there was local pain that did not exceed 2 to 3 hours.
There may also be some itching without consequences and often this is due to the reaction of certain cosmetic products used by clients; to avoid the chances of this do not use anything before coming in for treatment.
There were some experiences of delayed onset muscle soreness from treatments on the stomach due to unintentionally engaging the abdominals, again disappearing later that same evening.
Why do you need the gel?

How long do the results last?
Depending on the individual and depending also on their lifestyle and diet, the results last several months or several years. It is advisable to see how long treatments stay their best on you and engage in booster sessions every month, quarter or more or less often!
How quickly will I see results?
The first results are generally visible from the first session and are often very encouraging. However, it should be noted that the best results appear from 15 days to 3 weeks after the start of treatment and extend for several months after the end of treatment. We recommend 3-5 sessions for maximum results.

Ultrasonic cavitation is a minimally invasive alternative to tumescent liposuction
that uses ultrasonic waves to turn fat cells into free fatty acids, which are easier
for the body to get rid of. The midsection, upper arms, thighs, hips, and chin area
can be targeted with these low-frequency ultrasound waves, which penetrate the
skin and create bubbles around fat deposits. The bubbles then burst, causing the
body to get rid of them naturally through the urinary tract and lymphatic system.
Proponents of ultrasonic cavitation say that the technology tones and tightens skin, without causing any pain or significant downtime. Cavitation is NOT a weight loss treatment
Ultrasonic cavitation is a circumferential reduction procedure. In other words, it won’t provide the same fat removal power as liposuction, but it might help you slim down those love handles or upper arms.

What to expect from your ultrasonic cavitation treatment:
For best results, most patients require between 10 and 12 treatments in-office treatments, but many see up to one to 2 inches (5 cm) of circumference reduction after only five treatments. Each treatment session lasts for around 30 to 50 minutes.
To get the most out of your treatments, doctors recommend drinking water, maintaining a healthy diet, and exercising regularly in-between sessions. Is it true that you only lose water weight during a session?
About 65% of the human body is made up of water. Getting your glisten on while sweating at the gym or on a run is also important, but the key to a successful infrared session is, well, the infrared. How Does it Work to Reduce Fat?
Our bodies absorb light energy - especially at certain wavelengths - and our cells respond by carrying out their day-to-day functions at an improved level. Not only does this help with things like skin health and muscle recovery, but it also plays a role in the body’s ability to process fat. It has been well documented that red light at certain wavelengths stimulates mitochondrial and ATP production. And there’s clinical data to back this up. A 2013 review in the academic journal Lasers in Surgery and Medicine states, “the mechanism is based on absorption of red and near infrared photons by chromophores in the mitochondria (particularly cytochrome c oxidase), leading to increases of mitochondrial membrane potential, oxygen consumption, adenosine triphosphate (ATP), and a transient increase in reactive oxygen species (ROS)." The researchers in this study went on to say that light therapy provides numerous ways of reducing weight, decreasing fat & cellulite, and improving the blood lipid profile. Even though the mechanism of action for light therapy- related weight loss has not been completely defined, one theory is that light therapy affects adipocytes, which are cells that store fat, causing the lipids to disperse. In simpler terms, light therapy helps the body wash away fat cells. Light therapy may create other actions that affect fat and weight loss as well. For instance, a 2012 study in the International Journal of Endocrinology showed that light can affect hunger, which could have benefits for helping to prevent the buildup of extra fat before it even begins. This study found that red light helped control levels of the hunger-related hormones leptin and ghrelin in sleep-deprived participants.
